Note from Amanda- This piece was done to challenge myself, as well as some stigmas in the art world. Colored pencil is a medium that I love, but only recently has began to command the respect it deserves as a professional art medium. Created for a local juried art show, this piece was one of the only colored pencil pieces in a 250 piece show, and I was proud to have it representing what colored pencil is capable of.
