Narrow is the Gate

"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few" .Matthew 7:13-14 ESV

A mysterious old overgrown gate that led back to a farm field caught my attention one day. I had driven that section of road many times, but had never seen it because of the angle it sits to the road. Unlike the large pipe gates commonly used now, this was a small wooden gate. It made me wonder what was beyond it, and reminded me of how Jesus is the narrow gate that leads to life.
